Laura Reilly was a solicitor in private practice for sixteen years appearing in both criminal and civil courts. She was involved in the preparation and presentation of criminal cases at all levels. Since calling at the Bar she has been involved in a wide variety of cases, both as junior counsel and acting on her own, including numerous rape trials (involving complex S.275 applications); drugs cases (2 of which involved the special defence of coercion); attempted murder and firearms cases.

Laura is regarded as hardworking, well-prepared and reliable by both solicitors who instruct her and senior counsel she appears with.
