Linda Pike called to the bar in 2008. Since calling at the Bar Linda has been regularly instructed by both the Crown and Defence as junior in relation to a number of prosecutions in the High Court of Justiciary. Prior to calling at the Bar Linda was a Procurator Fiscal Depute for 12 years and has considerable experience of criminal law and procedure. Linda also has considerable experience in criminal appeal work having spent three years working in the Crown Office specialised Appeals Unit. Since calling at the Bar Linda has been regularly instructed by the Crown Office in relation to appeal work. She has appeared as junior for the Crown in a number of high profile appeals and appears as an ad hoc Advocate Depute for sentence appeals.

Since calling at the Bar Linda has also developed an interest in extradition work. She has appeared as junior for the defence in extradition appeals and has built up a sound working knowledge of extradition law. Linda also has dealt with many cases involving Devolution matters and cases dealing with the ECHR and has experience in dealing with appeals to the Supreme Court.

Linda has also worked in private practice where she specialised in personal injury and family law. She still retains an interest in these areas.
