Mark Strachan called in 2004 after working for a number of years as a solicitor in private practice. He quickly established himself at the Criminal Bar. He has accepted instruction in the Sheriff Court, High Court and Appeal Court, building on the experience he acquired while in private practice. His analytical mind is of great help in most cases but particularly in Proceeds of Crime matters, an area of special interest to him.

His article on the development of Anderson appeals is published in 2006 Scots Law Times. Mark is currently writing a book on the law pertaining to sexual offences in Scotland, with particular reference to post conviction sentencing options.
