Since calling to the Bar in 2020, with twenty-five years of criminal defence work experience, Kenneth Cloggie quickly established himself as one of the most sought-after junior counsel. Often stepping in for senior, he has established one of the strongest criminal practices at the Bar. With an excellent reputation amongst all Court users, he is instructed throughout the country by leading criminal defence firms and prioritises cases on the order of instruction only. He is well known for his ability to distil complex cases into easily understandable issues for the Court, client, and the decision-maker. He is dedicated to the right of an accused to have a fair trial. At trial, his legal knowledge, cross examination skills and ability to connect with the jury has helped to establish his success.
