Megan Davidson

Megan completed both her LLB and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Glasgow. Throughout her traineeship and after qualifying as a solicitor, Megan worked within two busy firms focussing on court work and regularly appeared in court representing clients in both criminal and civil cases. She took a keen interest in children’s hearings and referrals, representing both parents and children at all stages of such proceedings including representing a child client in the Supreme Court case of ABC and XY.

Since calling to the Bar in 2022 she has developed a busy practice and is regularly instructed in criminal cases across all levels: from summary cases in the Sheriff Court to High Court appeals. Megan also has considerable experience of appearing alongside senior counsel in complex and high-profile trials involving voluminous disclosure and requiring significant preparation. Her attention to detail and down to earth manner are well received by agents and clients alike.
